As of today (3/19/09), there is a website and telephone hotline,set up by the US Treasury Department to help homeowners refinance or modify their mortgages.
If you need to refinance or modify your mortgage, call 888-995-4673 or visit makinghomeaffordable.gov to see if you qualify.
